Model Transport Exhibition

In January 2018 we held our first Model Transport exhibition. The Crossing halls were filled with wonderful exhibitions of model train, tram and bus layouts all expertly made by enthusiasts from far and wide. The Church was full of excited visitors admiring the displays and browsing the trade stands.The café was extremely busy all day, with bacon and sausage butties, light lunches and cakes.

This was such a successful day that the event was repeated in January 2019 & 2020 and was even bigger and more popular each year. Bob & Sylvia (the event organisers) were planning to hold another event in August last year when, as we all know, the pandemic stopped all such events.

As we are now very hopeful that restrictions are going to be reduced in the summer months a date has been set for our 4th exhibition on September 4th 2021. Mark the date in your diary, and "watch this space" for announcements. Details will follow as soon as we are able to confirm that we are able to go ahead with this event.
