Crossing SEC Becomes a Charity
After many months of hard work to achieve it, The Crossing's Social Enterprise Company now has Registered Charity Status

A decision by the partnership board of directors of the SEC to seek charitable status was made in Autumn '07, after we recognised that the purposes of the SEC were clearly charitable. The benefits of having the work of the SEC recognised as a Charity will help the SEC's declared Object which is "to develop and implement ethical projects and initiatives - based in or delivered from The Crossing Church & Centre - which are designed to benefit the community of Worksop & District". We are now therefore Registered Charity No. 1123193 and Limited-by-Guarantee Company Registered in England & Wales No. 05893762. Many thanks to Dave Jordan, The Crossing SEC's Secretary, along with the rest of the board, for all the hard work involved in this exciting development.
