Tony's Story
Category: Church
Posted by: anneg
Mrs. Maureen Grey told us a lovely, but heart-rending story of a little Romanian Boy named Tony [now 23 years old] who came to them in a very distressed state at the age of 6, and it was a reminder of how God works in the lives of His people to help others who are less fortunate than ourselves. There were extremely sad [and violent] incidents in the early life of Tony, but with medical care and the devotion of Maureen and her family Tony has come through it all, and the lovely climax to the story is that Tony is now engaged to be married. We saw photographs of Tony in the different stages of his recovery from so much trauma, and finally the photograph of him and his lovely fiancee, both with beaming smiles!! We continue to remember them both as well as Maureen and her family in the days ahead.
We look forward to the fellowship next week when we will be joined by the Chesterfield Women's Fellowship and Mark will be our speaker.
