R.Generation

Hi, and welcome to the R.Generation's webpage! The pages will hopefully show you what the youth of The Crossing are about and tell you what we're doing in the near future :)

R.Generation is for all young people from Y6 and upwards. We meet every Sunday night at 7.30pm. Most weeks we meet at The Crossing Church, but once a month we go across to Dinnington Methodist Church to meet up with their Youth Group.

 

During meetings we spend some time looking at Christian issues, play games and just chilling over drinks & biscuits. Some meetings we just watch a film and eat pizza. Apart from regular meetings we have also gone bowling in Sheffield, had sleep overs in the Church, run a charity auction for Christian Aid, and other fundraising events. We also sponsor a chilld in India through Compassion UK

Every Summer, over the August Bank Holiday Weekend, we go off to the Greenbelt Christian Arts Festival at the Cheltenham Racecourse for 4 days camping, culture, music and a fantastic time! More details nearer the time. Here is an outline of our programme up to Christmas:
